Rockstar Games may have just teased the existence Red Dead Redemption 2 on twitter. On Sunday morning Rockstar Games posted a tweet of their logo with a red background in a style that is very reminiscent of the critically acclaimed Red Dead Redemption. Since posting the photo, Rockstar has also updated their banner and avatar pictures on Facebook and Twitter in a similiar style.

The follow up to Red Dead Redemption has been heavily rumored since the release of Grand Theft Auto 5. Though Rockstar has remained silent on the matter, email leaks and the leak of an in-game map have all but confirmed development. Redemption was released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 systems in 2010 and received critical acclaim from several outlets.

Redemption was recently made available as a backwards compatible title on Xbox One, an event that reportedly caused a 6000% sales increase of the 360 version. With the announcement seemingly around the corner, I would highly suggest playing the original as it is a game that holds up very well.
