May. The month that last year gave us Uncharted 4 is sadly not giving us another one. But that does not mean there are not excellent games on the PSN! What am I interested in checking out this week? Let’s take a look…

Friday the 13th: The Game (PS4)

Can you escape from Camp Crystal Lake? Asynchronous multiplayer has one person playing as Jason (there are various movie versions of him) and seven folks playing as counselors. The goal? If you are Jason, eliminate the counselors. If you are the counselors, escape or survive. Pretty simple concept that looks like a ton of fun to play, especially if you can get an entire group of eight folks together!

Portal Knights (PS4)

One issue I always had with Minecraft was wanting a bit more direction, and Dragon Quest Builders gave me that. Portal Knights may take that formula to the next level. Travel to different worlds to gain resources to improve your gear and supplement your stronghold. There are even multiple classes and multiplayer to boot!

Rime (PS4)

Ah yes, the game that was supposed to be a PlayStation exclusive but now is not. A lot of theorizing went around that development must have been a struggle. But while there are no official reviews yet, previews have been pretty good (granted, that can change)! I am down for a fun puzzle adventure game in a stylized world, and that is what Rime looks to be!

That is it for me this week as I am more focused on E3 than I am playing games. Seems odd that I am more into preparing for a show about games I get to play in the future than I am into playing games out now, but that is the life I live! Is there something I missed? Comment below and let me know what I should be checking out that I skipped!
