I have to admit when I sat down to do this article, I could not think of too much coming out this week. Then I started looking at the releases and there is a lot coming out this week! True, we may not have any AAA blockbusters, but there are a number of interesting titles to check out. Since the number of titles I am interested in is far more than a usual week, I am going to try out a different format for the post so let me know your thoughts in the comments below or hit me up on Twitter!

Dragon Quest Heroes II (PS4)

A musou style game set in the Dragon Quest world. If you want to hack and slash a bunch of baddies in an open world, this might be a game you should check out!

Little Nightmares (PS4)

A spooky puzzle-platformer that oozes with style, if you have enjoyed games likeĀ Inside this might be something for you to keep an eye on.

Outlast 2 (PS4)

A town hidden away from the world. Its inhabitants? A cult preparing for the end of times. If you would like to visit that town, play Outlast 2.

Puyo Puyo Tetris (PS4)

More Tetris is always good, but be aware: the PS4 version of this game is ONLY at retail and quantities are expected to be limited.

Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment (PS4)

Shovel Knight is one of the best platformers of recent memory, and while Plague of Shadows was not as good as I had hoped, Specter of Torment looks to right the ship and early impressions are great! If you already own Shovel Knight you will get this for free! Otherwise, if you have not played Shovel Knight yet, I recommend it.

Statik (PSVR)

A puzzle-solving game involving your hands strapped into a box, sitting in a room you do not recognize, with a voice coming over a loud speaker you have never heard before. What could be more fun?!

What Remains of Edith Finch (PS4)

From the makers of The Unfinished Swan, follow the story of Edith, the last remaining member of the Finch family as she uncovers the secrets of her families history.
