We are officially into the fall gaming season, and October promises to be a huge month in game releases. This week’s releases are a bit slight, though it should give gamers time to dig into a few gems this week, from the second episode of the new season of TellTale’s Batman to a re-release of Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen and WRC 7. There’s one other game I’m really excited about this week, which I’ll detail below.

Take a look here at the full drop of games, via the PlayStation Blog.

Battle Chasers: Nightwar

Inspired by the awesome Battle Chasers comic book, this game features classic turn-based gameplay and a roguelike layout. The game features beloved characters from the comic book and a unique look. I read Battle Chasers for the first time earlier this year and immediately fell in love with the art style and the characters. I look forward to the continuation of the story.

Batman: The Telltale Series: The Enemy Within
I typically don’t play Telltale’s series until after a full season is released. This week, chapter 2 of the second season of Batman comes out, and it features The Riddler this time around. Telltale spins a great story, and I’m excited to get into the Batman universe again.

Playstation Plus

So far this week, PlayStation hasn’t posted any weekly sales aside from Uncharted: Lost Legacy being listed at $29.99, down from $39.99 for the week. Instead, I wanted to highlight this month’s stellar PlayStation Plus lineup. If you have PS+, and you haven’t yet played Metal Gear Solid V, then you absolutely need to download it this month. The other games on PS4 this month include Amnesia: The CollectionHue and Sky Force Anniversary.

This week, I’m gaming Destiny 2 and Uncharted The Lost Legacy on PS4 and NBA 2K18 on Switch. I’ve also been dabbling in Fortnite: Battle Royale, have SteamWorld Dig 2 and will hop in on the Battlefront 2 beta later this week. What are you playing?
