As we expected last week, the demo for Hey Pikmin is making its way to America this week and I for one am happy to check it out. Over on the Switch front there’s a handful of indie games, most of which I haven’t heard much about before today so we’ll definitely start digging in and try to bring some impressions via the podcast over the next couple shows.

Not mentioned in the weekly PR release but shouldn’t be dismissed is the ARMS 2.0 update that brings STABILITY, fixes, but most importantly Max Brass as a playable character.

Nintendo Switch

I and Me ($10)

I and Me is a puzzle platformer. To play the game, you control two cats simultaneously. The two characters will perform exactly the same action. You need to manage both of them at the same time and let them coordinate to complete the adventure. The game has four chapters based on four seasons with a total of 92 levels. Sometimes you must think carefully, and in some places you need to be flexible

De Mambo ($13)

De Mambo lets 1-4 players engage in Mambo Combat. Grab a Joy-Con™ and charge your measly one button and release at different times to do three different attacks! Knock your opponents off the screen and break the level however you decide (thanks to some flimsy architecture), to make your game marginally different each time you play. De Mambo is the first game by The Dangerous Kitchen, dedicated to all those who helped us reach this point. De Mambo launches with 3 Play Modes:

Solo Mode – One player feasts on a mélange of 70+ salivating gameplay challenges

Mambo Mode – 2-4 players battle it out until one is left standing

Survival’ Mode – 1-4 player mode where you try and survive… from an onslaught of the evil Personal-space Invaders

Death Squared ($15)

Death Squared is a puzzle game about cooperation, communication, and robot explosions.

Does anyone actually read these descriptions? They do? And there’s someone reading right now? Well, in that case: Death Squared is a cooperative puzzle game for 1, 2, or 4 players, best enjoyed with loved ones who don’t mind a little arguing for the greater good.

Levels+ : Addictive Puzzle Game ($7)

Levels+ is an addictive puzzle game that you’ll want to challenge over and over again.

The rule is simple. Slide and match panels with the same color and number to level up!
