Greetings Koopalings! Slightly lighter week this week, especially on the Switch front. Outlast 2 does come over if you’re looking for a horror game and if you own Pokken Tournament DX you can now buy Battle Pack 2. The real star of this week is none other than Detective Pikachu over there on that 3DS.   This Week On Nintendo Switch: Outlast 2 – The Outlast 2 game introduces you to Sullivan Knoth and his followers, who left our wicked world behind to give birth to the Temple Gate town deep in the wilderness and hidden from civilization. Knoth and his flock...

Greetings Koopalings! This week over on the Nintendo shops is a little lighter than the past few weeks. Its possible something new could be announced “OUT NOW” (or relatively soon) in this afternoon’s direct presentation but if not you still have a handful of indie games to check out. The highlight is The Trail: Frontier Challenge, a new game from 22Cans and once Fable creator Peter Molyneux. The game is bound to be compared to an Oregon trail, features crafting, adventuring, and mini-game activities wrapped up in a nice, Wind Waker esque aesthetic. We haven’t played this one yet...

Greetings Koopalings! Pretty good week over there on the Nintendo eShops this week but before we get into that…. This week, Bayonetta ranked as the No. 1 best-selling Nintendo Switch download title at the Nintendo eShop. So if you didn’t know or didn’t get to it yet…. umm… do that. Thanks. Now back to this week. Greetings Koopalings! A very Switch-Heavy eShop update this week which I have to imagine will be great news to many. This week’s a big one as Bayonetta 1 & 2 ports arrive to the Switch. One of Nintendo Switch’s bigger exclusives, having a AAA-action game like this on the go has to be a real treat. Caroline and I (Donnie) are both in on Bayonetta and hope to provide some feedback next week on the Nintendo Shack. And if you’re not one to be seduced by ass-kicking witches – Layers of Fear, Old Man’s Journey, Xeodrifter and another DLC...

The Long Reach dated for Switch, Xbox One, PS4 & PC

You know how every now and again a trailer or a screenshot comes across the screen and catches your eye? I just had one such moment when I watched the trailer for The Long Reach for the first time and rushed over here to make sure I shared the experience. The game immediately reminds me of other video games like Lone Survivor and The Coma. And as our listeners already know, you don’t have to try too hard to get me interested in a horror video game. The game is arriving on Nintendo Switch! (and yes Xbox, PS4, and PC lol)...

Greetings Koopalings! This week can be summed up in two words – Pokemon & Celeste. Thos will be the two games that get the most buzz around social media today but Space Dave, Fantasy Hero, and Tennis are at least worth the click through to see the screenshots – they look pretty decent at face value (and price). This Week On Nintendo Switch: Celeste – Brave hundreds of hand-crafted challenges in this super-tight platformer, as you help Madeline survive her journey to the top of Celeste Mountain. The controls are simple and accessible, but with layers of expressive depth to...
